Okay, so Kung Pow isn’t high art, but it’s one of my go-to movies when I need a laugh. I remember the first time I saw it and lost it at the “I’m bleeding, making me the victor!” line. The movie is so bizarre, from Tonguey to the cow fight, but it works somehow. The humor is definitely not for everyone, but I appreciate the absurdity and dedication to being silly. The Lion King parody scene gets me every single time and I am still quoting that movie. The fight scenes are amazing, I mean when will a cow be in a kung fu scene again.
