🍿 Infinite: Detailed Plot Synopsis
The Discovery of the Infinites
Evan McCauley, plagued by hallucinations and inexplicable skills, struggles to hold down a job. He discovers he’s one of the ‘Infinites,’ individuals who remember their past lives. Two factions exist: the Believers, who use their knowledge to help humanity, and the Nihilists, who want to end the cycle of reincarnation.

The Hunt for the Egg
Evan learns he’s the reincarnation of Treadway, who hid a world-ending device called the ‘Egg.’ Both the Believers, led by Nora, and the Nihilists, led by Bathurst, are after Evan to find the Egg’s location. Evan must unlock his past life memories to protect the world from destruction.

Unlocking Memories
Nora and her team work to unlock Evan’s memories, hindered by a metal plate in his head. They seek the help of the Artisan, who uses a unique machine to access Treadway’s memories. Evan finally remembers where Treadway hid the Egg: inside his own body in his previous life.

💥 Infinite Reviews
Personal Review
Okay, so I went into this movie expecting a mindless action flick, and it delivered on that front. There were some really cool fight scenes and car chases, but the plot was all over the place. I found myself laughing at how ridiculous some of the stunts were, especially the motorcycle jump. Chiwetel Ejiofor did a fantastic job as the villain, he almost saved the movie for me, but overall, it’s a fun, but not very memorable movie. It’s definitely a one-time watch, nothing more.

Professional Reviews
- IMDb: “Despite an interesting premise, the film quickly devolves into over-the-top action sequences that overshadow the underdeveloped story. The performances are lackluster, and the CGI is often unconvincing, resulting in a forgettable and generic action movie experience. A waste of potential.
- Rotten Tomatoes: “Infinite has some cool ideas that fail to stick to the landing in a way that is either logical or impactful. Too much action overshadows what is at its core a really thought-provoking concept. Chiwetel Ejiofor is fantastic, but wasted
