💥 Superfast! Reviews
Personal Review
Okay, I admit it, I chuckled a few times. This movie is dumb, like, *really* dumb. But if you go in expecting ‘Airplane!’ and get something more like ‘Dumb and Dumber’ with cars, you might actually have a good time. The Rock parody alone is worth a watch, just for the baby oil jokes. But don’t expect cinematic genius; just a silly escape. The casting choices are surprisingly good; it’s clear the actors tried to have fun, which made the movie at least watchable. The race scene when the character shaves his head while driving was a funny spoof. I am not ashamed to say it made me laugh!

Professional Reviews
- IMDb: “Superfast! may not be the worst spoof in their filmography, but it’s the second worst. As a parody, it is tedious with no jokes. With insulting gags to mimic the source material it’s replicating.
- IMDb: “While the script created plenty of lovable moments as it satirized the original’s stereotypes as Rapper Cameo, Cool Asian Guy, and Model Turned Actress. Most of the cast are made up of various pretty people who simply fill the diversity quota much like the original franchise. What also gave the movie the humor edge was cleverly spoofing the leads’ marks: Dwayne Johnson’s muscles, Michelle Rodriguez’s masculinity, and Paul Walker’s idiotic aspect.
- IMDb: “While you might laugh, you’ll cringe harder. The actors give their best performances, but the humor gets old fast. Most of the time it’s awkward and uncomfortable. If you know Friedberg and Seltzer then you know that toilet jokes and cheap gross-out gags is the only thing that they consider to be genuine satire. It’s more of an embarrassment to itself than a parody of Fast and Furious.
Audience Reactions
The Rock Johnson parody character provides great laughs.: Funny if you don’t take it too seriously and just want a dumb laugh.
Movie is funny to those that appreciate low brow humor.: A good spoof of the source material is the original ‘The Fast and Furious’ series.
Overall Consensus: Superfast! is a low-brow parody of the Fast and Furious franchise that may appeal to viewers who enjoy silly, over-the-top humor but is generally considered to be poorly made.
