Schemes and Betrayals

As word of the potential sale spreads, various parties attempt to undermine the deal and steal Pearson’s empire. Dry Eye, an ambitious underboss of a Chinese Triad, offers to buy the business but is rejected. He then initiates a series of disruptive actions, including raiding one of Pearson’s marijuana labs. Big Dave, a tabloid editor, hires private investigator Fletcher to dig up dirt on Pearson, adding another layer of complication.

Fletcher’s Investigation

Fletcher presents his findings to Raymond, Pearson’s right-hand man, in the form of a screenplay. He demands £20 million to prevent the information from being leaked to Big Dave.
