The Curse of Imhotep

In 1290 BC, High Priest Imhotep has an affair with Anck-su-Namun, the Pharaoh’s mistress. When their relationship is discovered, they murder the Pharaoh. Anck-su-Namun takes her own life, intending to be resurrected by Imhotep. However, Imhotep is captured by the Pharaoh’s guards before he can complete the resurrection ritual and is subjected to the Hom-Dai, the worst of all curses, ensuring he becomes an immortal, walking plague if ever resurrected.
