The film begins on Draenor, the Orcs’ homeworld, which is being consumed by a destructive force called ‘Fel magic.’ Gul’dan, a powerful Orc warlock, unites the Orc clans into the Horde, planning to escape Draenor through a portal he creates to the world of Azeroth. He sustains the portal by sacrificing captured Draenei, draining their life force.
